saturday turned out alright, but the epitome of the weekend was definitely sunday. it began by having Laura, Zach and April come over to help cook for Food Not Bombs Pomona. we danced and cooked and cooked and danced, life ruled at this point. after serving Zach and April headed out and me and Laura stuck around my house, enthralled in deep conversation until she had to leave. this is where I thought my night was going to end.....but no. shortly after Laura left, Joey texted me asking if I had any interest in riding the route of the L.A. marathon early in the morning. not wanting to miss out on what sounded like a promising chance for fun, I happily agreed. Joey picked me up at 10 p.m., which is when I found out that the ride started at 3 a.m. I was already exhausted from cooking and serving that day, but I said what the hell. what ensued was a night of pure insanity. the following video no where near does it justice.
oh, also, come out to my house for this:

more deets later.
